Matt Lindqvist publishes Michigan Foundation Pros, a guide to the foundation repair and basement waterproofing companies working across Michigan. Each listing shows a company's Google rating, review count, phone number and the services it offers, so homeowners can compare a few companies before they call. The information comes from public business data and each company's own website. When an owner claims a listing or sends a correction, it is checked by hand before anything changes. Why this directory exists
Finding a foundation company in Michigan usually starts with a search full of ads, lead-selling sites and national brands with a local phone number. A homeowner with a crack in the basement wall, or water on the floor after a spring thaw, needs something simpler: the companies that do this work near them, how their customers rated them, and what each one says it offers.
That is what this directory is. I built it from public business data and from each company's own website. Every listing here does foundation repair, basement waterproofing or crawl space work. Roofers, plumbers and insulation companies that list waterproofing as a side service were left out, along with closed businesses and duplicates.
Each listing shows the services a company names on its own site, such as wall anchors, piers, drain tile or sump pumps. When a company's site does not say, the listing marks it as not known instead of guessing. Ratings and review counts come from Google. Companies can pay for a featured spot, and every paid spot is labeled so you can tell it apart from the rest.
How listings are vetted
Every listing starts from public business data for Michigan companies filed under foundation and waterproofing work. We kept businesses that are open and have Google reviews, merged duplicates, and left out roofers, plumbers, insulation companies and other trades that list waterproofing only as a side service.
Then we read each company's own website and recorded the services it names, such as wall anchors, piers, drain tile, sump pumps or crawl space encapsulation. When a site does not say, the listing says so instead of guessing.
Right now that is 98 foundation repair companies in 18 Michigan cities, last refreshed 2026-10-07.
Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
Corrections and removals
If a listing is wrong, or you want your business removed, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
